Unreality is the seventh album from Andrew Keller’s (Hermit Thrushes, Jonagold) Snow Caps, and the first with This & That Tapes. From Andrew himself: “I started writing this album in late 2016, early 2017, and I was obsessed with making this album. I have to make music, this is what I have to do, we’re all gonna die. The album’s very abstract. I learned to enjoy the quiet time I was given by the pandemic.”

Andrew has a real knack for creating left-of-central, chamber-pop earworms. I’ve had the pleasure of living in the world of Unreality these past few weeks as I’ve prepared the release, and I’m just pleased as punch it’s finally time to release it into the world.

The hi-fi cassettes are recorded directly to cassette through my mastering deck and sound as good as a cassette’s gonna. The lo-fi are duplicated through a vintage 1983 stereo duplicator and feature all the warmth, noise, pops, and cracks that I love so much about cassettes. All purchases include a digital download that comes with the physical package, and all download-only purchases can be made through Bandcamp.
